The world-renowned performing arts company Cirque du Soleil returns to Istanbul after a long interval with its production OVO. Presented at Ülker Sports and Event Hall from 21 to 24 May 2026, the show brings Istanbul audiences back into contact with Cirque du Soleil’s distinctive stage language, where acrobatics, music, costume, lighting and scenography are woven into a single visual universe.
Meaning “egg” in Portuguese, OVO invites the audience into the vibrant, colourful and constantly moving world of insects. From ladybugs and ants to butterflies and spiders, this scenic universe gives form to nature’s rhythms, love, curiosity, transformation and the energy of life through acrobatic expression that pushes the limits of the body. OVO can be experienced not only as a large-scale spectacle, but also as a poetic field of vitality created through the encounter of the body, imagination and stage technology.
